Chilli's Patriot Review Whenever someone bugs the heck out of me, I take it upon myself to repay the favor x100000. Enter the Patriot, my weapon of choice when it comes to driving people utterly, utterly insane. Augh! Those frickin' buzzing police fly things.. These are indeed the Liberty cop ships, which, in the hands of an decent Freelancer pilot, are incredibly difficult to hit. The small size of this ship combined with an incredibly tight turn rate means you can zigzag out of the way of most attacks and even stay on the tail of larger, slower fighters. Perfect for Harassing Big Ships The Patriot packs four class 3 guns and a class 3 shield. Fine for Liberty space, but in the other systems you will need to be fast and agile to avoid being vaporized. This ship is tiny, so you get small cargo capacity and a weak hull, no surprise there, but at least the power systems are decent, although nothing special. Summary So the Patriot shapes up to be a good light fighter due to its good firepower and great handling. If you can overlook the tiny cargo space and watch out for your fragile hull, you'll enjoy the freedom this extremely maneuvrable little ship gives you.
