Meatboy's Freighter Tip
With comments, notes and insults by the Drunken Lancers..

Meatboy writes: "Nothing is more nasty than a well armed freighter in turret mode while drifting*." - I disagree! I've seen you naked!
* Drifting is flying with the engines off by using Engine Kill.

"It takes a bit of time fighting to get used to it but with practice you can learn to keep abeam of your target with thruster taps**. You are out of his forward facing arc so no weapon fire while you wail away with your top/bottom/and side turrets."
** Use the Tab key for Afterburners. Also, Forward or Reverse Thrust slows you to normal speed, so use Strafe keys only!

"The game Ai just plain freaks when you learn to do this well." - Stupid game AI.

"People tend to use freighters the wrong way, that would be the way the game intended them to move under thrust and
turn like a pregnant sow." - I was thinking more like a moose in a tar pit.

"Now I only move under thrust when I am docking with something or leaving a planet. Other then that it's all afterburners only, what I have come to call z flying. [Z for engine kill button]."

Thanks for the tip, Meatboy, the other stuff you had to say was too similar to upcoming guides, so we deleted it!! HAHAHA!!!11
