Choice's Barracuda Review When you see one of these flying straight at you with six guns blazing, you will remember it. The Barracuda rewards good pilots and weapons experts by being a mobile gunboat capable of doing serious damage, so long as you look after your hull! Someone put a Tie Fighter together wrong So this ship may look like something out of star wars, but it has far more firepower than people realize. There are SIX (count em) forward firing gun mounts, meaning you have 2 class 5 and a massive FOUR class 6 weapon slots. That is more than enough to take care of business. The price is a bit above 70000 creds, considering it's a better dogfighter than the similar-priced Dragon and Wolfhound, you're spending your money wisely.. My wing flew off!!11 Yep, the Barracuda has some flaws.. for instance you can lose a wing or two, meaning whatever gun is attached onto it is also lost until you repair it. Pretty serious eh, but it only happens when you're close to death anyway so relax. The extra firepower is worth the purchase, you get two more class 6 weapons than a Hawk or a Drake, so despite not being able to turn as fast you can hammer them on the first try or engine drift and finish them off! Summary So the barracuda is a big slab of metal, but it is STACKED with guns and cargo space. Its ideal for piracy aswell as pirating hunting, which is what makes it such a cool all rounder, even though it is an easy target. You just gotta think of the six forward guns and big cargo bay!
