Steve's Drone Review This dumpy looking thing is a great choice for freighter pilots wanting the firepower without ruining their reputation. Let's have a closer look then, eh? Looks like one of those junk ships. Yep, its looks are an acquired taste, but seriously folks, this is a great package. You get the same hull strength and equipment class as the Dromedary, for the same price. You also get 175 cargo units, which makes the Drone the 3rd largest freighter available. Rurrgh!!1 The Drone's firepower was a real surprise for me. You get 2 Class 6 guns, 3 class 5 turrets and 3 class 6 turrets, with one of the class 6 turrets (weapon slot 6) not firing forwards. This gives you seven forward firing weapons, only one class lower on one weapon than the Dromedary. Summary All of these good features wouldn't be anything without the ability to move em around comfortably. I'm pleased to say the Drone handles very well, turning slightly better than the Dromedary, it's just a shame it doesn't have as much cargo space. The best things about the Drone? It handles great, shoots great, carries a lot and you don't need to go to a pirate base to buy it. A thoroughly underestimated beast! Pros Cons Good price. Looks pretty ugly to some people.
